A small piece on this lad in the Times today suggesting he now deserves consideration for No 1 given recent form and that he is the only Irish keeper getting game time at the top level.

He certainly deserves consideration, Norwich are second top in the current form table
which of course means none of the Irish players at Norwich get a look in!!!
Sign him up Trap, sign all the Canaries up!! Sign up anything that looks remotely yellow including bananas.
To be honest Westwood has hardly inspired a nation, a generation, or even confidence.
I'm a bloke,I'm an ocker
And I really love your knockers,I'm a labourer by day,
I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,
Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
While Bunn reinforces our goalkeeping stocks and will become a major competitor to Westwood, it is a position that worries me. Bunn is showing what I have said for ages, that he is a good, solid goalkeeper. Hughton will have a welcome problem when Ruddy returns, who to play. Westwood has hardly played this year, and under O'Neill, will not get a chance unless injury intervenes. Henderson is on loan until January, I believe, and what happens then? We could be back to not having our possible first three goalkeepers playing. It's a worry!
Has he signed up to play for us? Nothing wrong with having options and Westwood has been solid thus far.
There is no such thing as a miracle cure, a free lunch or a humble opinion.

Bunn, who was named man of the match in Sunday's win over Sunderland, admits he would jump at the chance of call-up to the Republic squad.
"It is one of my aims to try and break into the Republic of Ireland squad and if the opportunity arose I would definitely be interested in playing for them," Bunn told Sky Sports.
"I think every player wants to play international football and play at the highest level and I am no different.
"I believe the goalkeeping spot with the Republic is up for grabs really since Shay Given retired.
"Keiren Westwood is first-choice at the minute, but he is not playing regularly for Sunderland.
"I now have a run of games in the Norwich team and it is a good time for me to show what I can do and impress hopefully."
Republic of Ireland plan scouting mission to watch Norwich's Mark Bunn.
Sky Sports understands that Republic of Ireland coaching staff are planning to watch Norwich City goalkeeper Mark Bunn in action over the festive period.
The Canaries shot-stopper has been in inspired form over recent weeks, playing a leading role in Norwich's 10-match unbeaten run.
Good god, he's played 5 games, one of which they lost, and they've conceded lots of goals.
While I would agree the word 'inspired' is a bit of an exaggeration, of course the FAI will look at him, as they are watching Pilkington and Hoolahan as well. However, your post Charlie seems to indicate that he has conceded lots of goals, it isa team game after all.
I'd be glad to have him on board. He looks a good solid keeper any time I've seen him which isn't a lot to be honest. No harm in having him as an option.
Ruddy is back on the bench today. Hopefully Bunn plays well and continues to keep him out.

I'm not so sure, keepers like Bunn are one a penny two a penny...
Stop it right now.
