The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Does Kennys family still live in Donegal or they back in Dublin? I'd assume IL will be his next target if he doesn't end up back here. (Not that I'd want him back again but worse decisions have been made at the Brandywell in recent years. . .)
For once maybe someone will call me "sir" without adding "you're making a scene."
Back to Longford with em!
Brian Laws is 1/5 on for the job apparently. He's a lot of experience but his career has been heading steadily south for the past few years. Makes you suspect there may be some underlying issue with him.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
More chance of Sean Connor.
If certain rumours turn out to be true, Mathews will have done his prospects no harm tonight.
He's a Rovers man through and through and gets on well with the powers that be in Tallaght, but I can't see him being anywhere near that job. Can't see him giving up his day job again either. He found it difficult to get back in to the bank from his previous leave of absence by all accounts. They'll go for a full time manager from outside the league I reckon.

May seem a weird shout but Kenny Cunningham? He hasn't the experience but seems to have a greater knowledge of Irish football than I expected and seems to really know his stuff. I can see him starting here with someone. Shamrock Rovers too big a place to start out to find his feet?
Roddy at 66/1 surely a good shout! Interesting to see Martin Russell 3rd favourite for job. Id be almost certain they will go for someone outside the league.
I'd have been delighted with Russell at the beginning of the season. UCD's shocking goals against record under him won't be a problem since Rovers don't bother trying to defend anyway.
Who are Shams fans blaming for the loss to Shels now.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!
Is it true Brian Laws has signed for Rovers? Surprising as I didn't rate him much as a manager (though he would be a tough nut). Good friends with El Rod, wonder will he bring him in to put some lead in the pencil?
There is no truth to it whatsoever as far as I can see beyond bookies' speculation. His new book is out, in a completely unrelated coincidence.
WTF is Brian Laws anyway, is he somebody famous ?
