Killian Brennan cleaning his boots with his jersey is my favourite story of players not caring.

Couldn't believe it. Never really see the point this close to the end of the season to do such a thing.

Come to Tolka when (inevitably) Alan moves on.

Sorry to break off topic but FAO Limerick fans Pete Mahon will not work outside Dublin, our next boss will be from the UK imo.

Rovers could be losing a big wedge on this, two and a half years?? Ouch.

    Brian Kerr anyone??

Jim Magilton has to be a shoe in for the Rovers job. They have to look high profile this time to get the club back on track.

One of Magilton, Kerr and Rico I'd imagine.

On the other hand....Steve Staunton anyone?

Is Magilton interested in the job though? surely if he was he wouldn't of gone to Oz in the first place?
For once maybe someone will call me "sir" without adding "you're making a scene."

Magilton looks a little more favourite. While I like Rovers, it's not a job I'd wish on anyone. It's like the perfect storm out in Tallaght. They'd best get someone in completely new from abroad, someone who has the personality to not give a hoot and just get on with it.

Rovers need someone to come in to instill discipline on certain players from last season. Magilton did it while MON fell apart midway through last season. Don't think they'll get him though..

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

Tony Cousins would probably take it. It's a step down but if the money was right..

That's being generous even though he's a Rovers man! Not that it was a serious suggestion obviously. I don't mind TC, he's not done badly with us as such but I just get the impression somebody else could do more with the squad he has.

Yeah, I think everyone's beginning to feel the same, I don't ever see Tony having a successful management career in the PD, he might be a decent assistant for Rovers, but he'd be a disaster as the main man.

Anyone hear Sean Connor on Radio this Morning. This was posted on our forum earlier today:

"Connor was just on RTE throwing his name in thr hat.for the Rovers job.

He claims there was an apology from the CAPS United board in today's paper and they asked him back. He said the club have since sacked 4 players for match fixing."

He seems like the trustworthy sort. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and a 3-year contract.

I couldn't recommend him to Rovers highly enough.
