....and limerick should have scored another five in the last ten mins.

Town/Mervue match postponed due to waterlogged pitch.

Galway a shambles in the first half conceding 7, limerick should have been in double figures..went in 7 2 up at the break, galway changed formation and tightened up considerably and nicked one on a counter attack at the end..limerick owned the ball and how they didn't manage to score in the second half is beyond me, could have scorered at least 12..Galway way out of there depth. Best for limerick were Barry sheedy and Tony whitehead
