I know it was only Leeds but it's great to see an Irish player who just seems to be have a lot of space whenever he passes the ball.

Corry was better than ok to be honest. I thought he was excellent and some of his passing was very good. Reminded me a bit of Micael Carrick. He had come in to a Wednesday team who couldn't hold the ball for more than 5 seconds (sound familiar?) and he combined very well with the teenager Bartley on loan from Everton. To be so composed on the ball in the hurry scurry of a Yorkshire derby bodes well for the future and David Jones had a lot of praise for him as did the commentators. Only complaint is that he might have closed Tonge down quicker for their goal.

As for the attack on Kirkland,

I don't think the Leeds players should have done to their end to applaud the fans even though it was only one fan. Sends the wrong message.

Taken off injured today before the half-hour mark. Maybe as simple as a badly bruised leg, in which case, he could be back in a couple of weeks.

Straight back in the starting line-up tonight v Middlesbrough after missing a couple of games through injury. Delighted to see he's already won over Dave Jones.

Trouble is he's in a team sinking faster than the Titanic (played last night in the 1-4 defeat by Watford). It will be a big test if and when a new manager is appointed as to whether he stays in the side - new broom and all that.

Making his Tranmere debut today after signing on loan. Not sure how come he's left Wednesday so quickly given he was starting earlier in the season.

I don't think Dave Jones expected to be playing him so soon. He was a bit ahead of schedule so this is probably where he'd have expected to be at this point. He must be in like his 13th month of consecutive football at this stage.

LOL about the 5th time you have learned a new word and then looked for a football related picture to illustrate it.
Are you doing this on other forums too?

I know what Copacetic means though i thought it was spelled with an "S" if I am being honest.
Still, I find your accustions to be scurrilous and malevolent.

Hate seeing a player going out on loan. 90% of the time it is the slippery slope especially since he was in the first team. I was quite impressed with him in the game against Leeds. Jones is presently playing a big physical side and hoping to fight his way out of danger that way. Corry,s style of football might not suit. He was a used sub for Tranmere who lost 0-2 at home.

Shamrock Rovers have an approach to take Corry on loan rejected; transfer focus to a move for teammate Stephen McPhail.

Won't happen: Rovers wouldn't be able to pay McPhail's wages plus he's mostly getting his game so nothing to be gained for the club.

It's not a loan offer. McPhail is out of contract next week.

McPhail was a fantatsic player underage for ireland back in the days when all youth matches were in dublin and we seemed to hold qualifying tournaments here and had regular friendlies.

Worry about Corry's future. At least he had appeared on the bench but now Wednesday have taken some youth midfielder from Chelsea on loan called Baker who has replaced Corry on the bench. Not looking good.

He has probably made the bench half a dozen times since leaving Tranmere without getting on the pitch, so it has been abundantly clear for a long time that he doesn't figure in their plans. He rejected a loan move to Chesterfield a month ago.
