The good thing is that he is attracting the attention of "bigger clubs" (I use the term loosely) with Burnley also interested so with a bit of luck he may be playing in the Premiership next season whether in claret and blue, or blue and white or whatever.

Swansea, Bournemouth and Leicester have been monitoring the Irishman in recent weeks, although the Foxes plumped for Birmingham's Demarai Gray.

So they were interested, but looks like they have made the wrong decision, Gray is a winger and only got one goal last season.

I guess they are planing on keeping their goal scorers at the club and fit.

The Derby County media were impressed with Judge on Saturday.

They fashioned their first opening of the contest on 16 minutes after Judge won a free kick. The midfield man took the set play himself, delivering an inch-perfect ball on to the head of Nico Yennaris, who could only divert the ball into the arms of Carson.

Judge tried his own luck from the edge of the area following a well-worked corner routine, but again Carson was equal to it as he sprung to his left to claim his first time drive.

The Irish midfielder was proving to be the Bees’ biggest threat as another one of his set piece deliveries was diverted wide at the far post by Jack O’Connell after he got in behind the Derby backline.

The man with the moral courage is only a minor doubt this weekend for Stoke though so it's not all doom and gloom.
