No Planning in this League at all..

having just read the thread about how they are potentially moving the start date to the summer soccer season back so that it doesnt clash with the world cup games etc etc...reminded me of just how little planning goes into this league from certain quaters..and it brought to mind something from last summer

and here we go back to my fav topic.... $$FC directors..
when the $eltic friendly was first announced I checked the date only to find out that it potentially could have clashed with the next round of the Inter Floppo Cup ( had we, as we should have beaten the Metalurgus boys )....they obviously didnt plan that or take it into consideration at all...i can just imagine it..what a kunundrum for the boys..."**** terry..what do we do..i'd hate to miss the big $eltic game...i mean they're irish and all...but the other game is off in holland and that be a bigger junket then we had over in latvia....i cant decide..feic it I'm off to play golf for a while!!"

just as well we didnt qualify for the next round of the Intertoto eh boys!!

That's not a bad dictionary: only four words missing!

Ooops! There was an 'etc' though, wasn't there?

James, so young and so cynical! Are there no Yankee babes to take your mind off things for a while?

Maybe you just have an unhealthy Board obsession? Talk to any of your work mates - they'll be well clued in to obsessions...

It's not really James, Vet! It's just a continuous loop sound byte eminating from the other side of the Atlantic...

but theres always something!! GAA matches, tv $eltic games...whatever...
anyway the tv times for the world cup arent going to clash with a 2pm start on a sunday or a 7.30pm ko at night are they...i thought the world cup games would KO late circa 2/3am

so that seems perfect to me
go to a game 7.45 ko match over go to the bar for a few then watch the world cup / ireland match..

    where's the clash???

Gerry! Why do you insist on trying to take the sting out of every sight of 'Board bashing' on here?

Fair enough you can't attack the Board, but surely you don't have to defend them all the time?

Actually, it was intended as a gentle James bashing...
