No prob at all wex. Just happy to have it up and running. Did better missing this draft than another forum draft where I was there. Over complicating things altogether.
Apologies to anyone who missed the draft(it was today[wednesday] @7pmGMT), I had to put it together at the last minute to have a chance to be ready for week 1, having extremely limited internet access hasn't helped matters.

The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.
Can somebody please explain the scoring to me as I can't make sense of it. I understand 0.1 PPY but beyond that I'm struggling especially at QB and DST.
There is also a maximum number of roster changes per week? That's really unfair. I wasn't able to replace my kicker this week as I had made so many injury and bye-week based changes. It also helps the players who are already at an advantage after being active on the waiver wire in the early weeks, which I wasn't, which is obviously my issue but now that I'm taking this league seriously, the maximum roster change rule is compounding the issue.
All that said, I'm 5-1 in my other league.

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.
I tried to be balanced with the points. Awarding points for all positive plays & giving a bonus for big plays while penalising for mistakes.
This year I added a reserve spot (player is kept on roster but it makes him unavailable for selection while in reserve, it also frees up a roster spot) on each roster to help deal with injuries.Code:Offense Passing Yards:1 point per 20 yards Passing Touchdowns:6 points Interceptions Thrown:-2 points Every Time Sacked:-1 point 300-399 Passing Yards Bonus:3 points 400+ Passing Yards Bonus:5 points Rushing Yards:1 point per 10 yards Rushing Touchdowns:6 points 50+ Rushing Yard TD Bonus:2 points Receiving Yards:1 point per 10 yards Receiving Touchdowns:6 points 50+ Receiving Yard TD Bonus:2 points Kickoff and Punt Return Yards:1 point per 10 yards Kickoff and Punt Return Touchdowns:6 points Fumble Recovered for TD:2 points Fumbles Lost:-2 points 2-Point Conversions:2 points Kicking PAT Made:1 point PAT Missed:-1 point FG Made 0-19:3 points FG Made 20-29:3 points FG Made 30-39:3 points FG Made 40-49:3 points FG Made 50+:6 points FG Missed 0-19:-2 points FG Missed 20-29:-1 point FG Missed 30-39:-1 point Defense / Special Teams Sacks:2 points Interceptions:2 points Fumbles Recovered:2 points Fumbles Forced:2 points Safeties:2 points Touchdowns:8 points Blocked Kicks:3 points Kickoff and Punt Return Yards:1 point per 10 yards Kickoff and Punt Return Touchdowns:6 points Points Allowed 0:15 points Points Allowed 1-6:12 points Points Allowed 7-13:10 points Points Allowed 14-20:8 points Points Allowed 21-27:5 points Points Allowed 28-34:2 points Points Allowed 35+:0 points Less than 100 Total Yards Allowed:13 points 100-199 Yards Allowed:10 points 200-299 Yards Allowed:7 points 300-399 Yards Allowed:4 points 400-449 Yards Allowed:0 points 450-499 Yards Allowed:-1 point 500+ Yards Allowed:-3 points
The 3 weekly roster changes have been there since i started the league in 2010. The limit, if I recall correctly, was the default# and I just left it as is. To be honest its never been an issue for me, I take it into account when planning my roster, when I'm drafting or picking up players I check for clashes on bye weeks. I also found the flex position helps if I have short term injuries or bye weeks.
If you want a change I can contact the other owners and request a vote for a change on # of adds/drops & an increase in the # of reserve spots. (each reserve spot can be used only once)

Thanks for the info WexCar. As I said, it is really my own fault for not staying more on top of my team and the wire. I personally don't think there should be a limit on roster changes. I also think the scoring should be simplified for future seasons.
On another note - I won the game by .05 points. Wow. You're lucky!

I've tried proposing some trades in our league but all I'm getting met with is silence!
Anyone here interested in trading a WR1 for take your pick of Matt Forte, Reggie Bush, Alfred Morris or Knowshon Moreno? Who you want should be reflected in what you offer...

Yeah I've found trades fairly difficult to execute. the only ones I have success with are basically loan deals(we agree to reverse the trade the following week) to help with bye weeks or short-term injuries.
I've put 2 trade options to you. See what ya think. At least ya will have Harvin to call on in a week or 2.

So Jamaal Charles eh?
Yep - thats my fantasy season over.
Im into the final of the Bohs Bowl. After escaping relegation to our 2nd division on the last day of last year, my march to redemption is almost complete and I make my 3rd final in 7 seasons. My nickname on the Bohs board is Chokahontas...
Im also into the semi-final of this one and finished 2nd overall in the regular season which is great!

We gonna give this another go?
Can we make it to the 12 needed?

I have opened the league again for this year for those who wish to take part. Note that i have replaced WR3 with IDP(Individual Defensive Player) & have included 2 injured reserve spots on each team. Also there is no longer a limit on the number of transactions allowed per week.
Those involved last year will be automatically entered so let me know if you want in or out. Anyone new to the league follow the below link & enter ID/password.

Any chance of a thread title change? It jars against my OCD tendencies.
