Johnny Manziel enters rehab. Well, that didn't take long.
I found this peace on that play call interesting: http://www.vox.com/2015/2/2/7961789/...y-call-defense
Seems to make a lot of sense, although I certainly am not an expert on American Football. Mighty game.

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.
Well I'm still buzzing after that. What a game. I thought I had seen it all after the Baltimore game.
In the last minute of the game you had:
a) the most improbable catch made by Kearse on the approx 6 yard line where the ball fumbles in the air, hits both his legs and he gathers it in both hands. ( When I saw that - and those replays of Manningham / Tyree etc I thought oh F**k - here we F**king go again with this F**king S**T. )
b) Then Hightowers tackle on Lynch - saved the game.
c) Then Belichick's ridiculous decision not to take a time out after the 1st down - why did he do that - I still cannot fathom why he didn't.
d) Then that amazing play at the end. Bit of a mental error from Carroll. Although I think the Pats had a fighting chance to make a stop. But it probably would have gone to 4th down, who knows what would have happened then?
An amazing game.

You guys know the Pats knew that pass was coming right? They practiced it all week. That's what is really amazing.
Jets QB Geno Smith out 10 wks with broken jaw after being sucker punched by (psycho) teammate.
I have mixed emotions about this one.

Would love to hear it. Injuries like crazy. Cowboys lose that DB starter...Steelers sign Vick... most fascinating team by far, the Eagles, is he serious about Tebow?
Brady suspension....Rex in Buffalo...

Brady suspension overturned. So basically the nfl has no right to enforce its own rules. Which is absurd. Flip side is his marraige is supposedly on the rocks.

YES!!!!!

Oh how nice of you to look down from up there.
Hey listen I am delighted that Brady got his ban overturned - hardly a life or death situation but as a fan of the team I'm delighted - hardly fair to lump my comment with someone who is happy that a marriage is seemingly under duress.
Ack I know, I just thought it read funny. I have no strong feelings on deflate gate except that the OCD side of me desperately needs someone to fix the thread title.

Now the floodgates open I imagine...if you are currently suspended why not take it to court? Stupid.
How about the 49ers.....half the team is either retiring at the ripe age of 25 or in legal trouble!
No Somos muchos pero estamos locos.
The Fighting Irish gave me a good scare today. The indispensable starting QB breaks his ankle in gruesome fashion. A mediocre Virginia team leads with 30 seconds left. Irish ball. Redshirt freshman in as new QB. Nothing doing, time ticking off. Then....a bomb into the endzone. Irish TD. Season saved for now for Notre Dame.
No Somos muchos pero estamos locos.
Guys going down like crazy already.
No Somos muchos pero estamos locos.
Redskins are still sh*ite although the defense is a little better! The Cowboys are going no where fast i think and the Eagles got clipped last night!
Still cant looked beyond Pats!
Yup. Buffalo Pats is really intriguing this weekend.
Giants loss was bizarre.
Colts fans ready to jump already.

Watched that game Saturday night Crosby - hard to think that ND are a top 10 team - even if that new QB is any way decent. Tough schedule as well. Georgia Tech visit Notre Dame on Saturday (8.30pm Irish time ) - looks like one of the games of the weekend to me - GT look impressive and are in the ACC shakeup big time. Auburn / LSU on at 8.30 as well - Ole Miss @ Bama and BYU ( them of the current Hail Mary trend ) visit UCLA in the two picks of the late late games.
Patriots D has a lot of work to do - they don't have the personnel in the secondary to go all the way this year with Browner gone to the Saints and Revis Island back to the jets. The performance of the young O-line was impressive though on Thursday night which will give Brady a platform to have a big numbers season I think. But when it comes down to it in the post season I think the Ravens are the team to be on this year. Very close to beating that exceptional Pats team in Foxborough last season and I can see them going all the way again this year.
