This thread has gone a bit off course from its original subject. To add to the drift, the new Bohs manager said on the radio nws tonight that most of the first team is out of contract at the end of this season, and it was the club's intention to sign them all up to a new one.

I doubt they'll get them ALL signed up. I think they'll let Paul McNally go and he might come back to us?

    <OK, read the sentence again>
Why, is it like one of those 3D things that will change meaning if I look long enough? (rolleyes)...Hang on a minute..

OK, I've read it again, and it still reads (if we're dealing with English) as Hoggie needing a run of games to show his stuff. I don't agree.
I responded to what you posted, not what you now say you thought (no mind reading capability here). Getting snotty about that is.....??

<You picked out "show his stuff". How come you did not pickout "needs to get a run of games" ?>
If you believe that this is a meaningful point, it's just as well we don't talk too often. You'd drive me around the bend.
But I'll take the bait this time: Your post was about players who are key for next season. Hoggie was not on your list of definities. You posted that he needs a run of games to show his stuff. IMO Hoggie does not need to either "show his stuff" or have a "run of games" or "show his stuff in a run of games" or even "have a run of games to show his stuff" to prove that he is an important player for the club. I'm happy to engage in discussion on that with you if you disagree.

<I may not have phrased it well, but I meant that Hoggie needs games.>
To get fit, sure. To prove himself, not IMO. And if you had posted first what you now say you meant, I could have replied to that.

Were you born mind-bogglingly banal and pedantic, or did you learn on a Fas course ?....

Just read this on the Bohs board.

colin hawkins has been in negotiations with shels about a move there next season. He has been told his form will be watched,as shels are not fully convinced of his form.
So if you see a massive turn-around in this donkey's form......you know why.
    Beneath contempt
If a City player did this kind of sh*te, I'd expect him to be dropped immediately and never to see him on the pitch in City colours again. At least Ollie didn't stoop to honker's level....

    [banal]
if you mean having the ability to understand your English, sure I am boy.

    [ pedantic]
Bit rich coming from you given your reply to my last post.

[QUOTE=patsh] or did you learn on a Fas course ?....:rolleyes,:[/QUOTE

It isn't easy replying to posts and not the poster with this kind of muck coming out. What do you want, replies like "is English even your first language?", "well done on not using the word bullsh*it in a post", "are you sure you meant what you said or did you mean something else", "were you dropped as a child", "you could read better if you took your head out of your a**?", "FAS wouldn't even take you"
These must represent your level because you rarely rise above it.

I answered your post as it was posted, you got annoyed because you didn't type what you actually thought and took it out on me. Do the world a favour and keep the insults to yourself.

City should try to sign Dave Morrison as he is out of contract at Bohs @ end of season.

As a squad player, I think Brian McGovern would be good (better) backup for Central Defence.
