Fair play to the Doc tho, hes a good option to have I can see his sheer size causing problems for our opposition with technically good but physically weak defenders (eg the Swiss). Big Niall did it against the Spanish defence in the far east 2 years ago and it saved our bacon.
Was the Doc our top goal scorer last time, I certainly recall him being amongst the goals for us in our last campaign ?
I thought he was starting at centre back and when they inevitabley begin to lose he is hoisted forward, saving them the trouble of bringing on a striker for a defender.
