Still ****ed off with that game. There doesn't appear to be any plan B. No width or pace in the side aside from Michael Lee. Teams are happy to funnel our players into the middle and pressure them there. It works too, we'll have loads of possession but have no threat in behind at all. Shaw is on his own up there and working like a dog but someone has to break past him or his work goes to waste. Get Salmon back into the centre midfield. Fair enough it's early days with Bayly but he and Gillespie were poor. Salmon's certainly wasted at right back anyway.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Big question is now who will play RB with Havo out? Going from past experience Id say it will be Colly James which is frustrating because Colly gives us great threat down the right play from midfid and we've sorely missed that these past few weeks. He's also lacking in pace and height so balls get pinged in over him all day. I said before the season started we needed another RB and that problem
is still there!
Totally agree with Longfordian in that Shaw is winning every flick on but when he knocks it on it's into open space because we have no other striker! I'm very eager to see Griffiths play from the start he's looked good every time he's come on. And Salmo should have came in as soon as he was back from suspension. Bayly will take time but he's quality let's just hope the team can show their quality on Saturday
