    Creedon's Cities

Anyone catch this on RTE tonight? Briefly covered Limerick FC's work in local communities and disadvantaged areas, with youth football and the like.

Presume it'll be on the RTE Player soon if anyone wanted to have a look.

    Edit: It's up - http://www.rte.ie/player/#!v=10039569

Saw it alright. Yeah they showed Leo down in Moyross and interviewed a couple of folks. Not bad at all. I've not seen the other ones and look forward to comparing the Cork feature next week. But at least they didn't do a TV3 and seek out local chavs who use sewer rods as pimp canes to 'ham it up' for the cams.

The Milk Market stuff was pretty dumb, but it was a refreshingly positive look at the city.

The most pathetic program rte have ever produced. If there isn't more to Limerick city than the thomond under 10 rugby team and a ghost in the milk market then it's a sad state of affairs.

He only had 45 minutes and went to loads of Limerick landmarks. The Milk Market bit was pretty stupid, but everything else was fine. Thomond, the river, underage sports, King Johns...what else is there without it turning into a tourism ad?
