Excellent report on yesterday's game Alan, John Boyle was top class. Reckon Carew would have beaten kilbarrack , pike are not what they were. 7/4 some price on kilbarrack
RESULT
KUFC 2-1 Pike
Boyles outright betting
2-5 Sheriff YC
9-5 Kilbarrack
kilbarrack just about deserved it,played well in the second half, though the wind a big factor in the game imo.enright a huge loss to pike when he had to go off injured, but having said that the switchs made by the pike mgt as a result were hard to work out, players were shifted all over the place and that with a replacement centre half on the bench....was he injured i wonder?bad weekend for limerick soccer, hard luck to both.
Wind did play a big factor in today's game but thought kilbarrack took better advantage of it in the second half and penned pike in they found it very hard to play out. In truth kilbarrack should have put the game to bed in the 2nd half they had 2 great chances in particular. Surprised there was no onslaught at all from pike towards the end they let the game just fizzle out, can't recall them having 1 decent effort on gaol in the 2nd half, like the other semi not a great sceptical but overall kilbarrack deserved the win.
Sheriff will win final handy. Kilbarrack have couple decent players but carrying 1 or 2 where sheriff are strong 1-16. McKenna for kilbarrack is a weak link
Last yr Sheriff beat us handy enough but this yr were much stronger, with a bigger squad and plenty of talent on the bench.
Sheriff are rightly bookies favourites but it suits us being underdogs.hopefully we can match them and its a decent game.
As far as I know weve no player called McKenna playing for us!
Sheriff will win handy? Doubt it very much..kilbarrack are an excellent side..it will be a close final

The Kilbarrack v Sheriff game on Sunday was a cracker. Sheriff scored first with a dodgy goal that should not have stood because of a handball. The ref may not have seen it but the assistant definitely did and bottled it. Kilbarrack got back in the game quickly with a beautiful passing move that was scored by Mark Townley. HT 1-1. The 2nd half started even enough with major talking points around Sheriff player's dirty play (they dont like it put up to them at all and have bad discipline). Kilbarrack scored a pen to go 2-1 up after a trip in the box (John Melady) before going 3-1 up with a goal from Mulligan with 5 mins to go. With about 1min to go, Mulligan was then sent off for a 2nd yellow for a push in the box, allowing Sheriff to score from the spot to make it 3-2. After about 5 mins injury time (from Sheriff kicking players) the ref blew up to the cheers of the few hundred on the sidelines watching.
Great analysis mate! What didnt the sheriff players do wrong.. Kilbarrack fan by any chance?
Totally impartial I swear !!
