Just on the aul game tonight I no the casement lads will give it everything but there like the aul team only together a few weeks so I don't think it's the challenge the aul need. Why didn't they play some one like Springfield. Kilreen the glen or even us good teams with no players on the squad makes sense to me so Donal could see if there's any other players that might interest him and get a good tough game at the same time.

Makes absolutely no difference, once they know each others names and have played together then it doesnt matter whether they play on astro grass concrete or anything, if they can play together they can play on any surface!! Some fellas on here just go out of their way to find something to criticise the lads about. Its laughable really. Only a few are actually supporting the lads, realistically the criticism is probably coming from people who are still sore about not getting selected for the squad or not having their players selected for the squad. Last practice game tonight, im sure some support would be alot more helpful

Makes no difference what surface they'd practised on once they know each others name?? Im all for supporting the team. I only asked a simple question.

Left twenty mins early was called home but aul played three at the back babbsy and Kearney and one other Nolan in midfield don't know the rest jc and lynch up top the views on casement totally wrong not a bad side at all ,don't think the three at the back is gonna work the centre halts not the quickest on tonight's showing but I liked that they played it out from the back quickly Kearney pushed up in to midfield with the half time changes Jeffers on linzell on mousey on and a few more I'm sure delea came on lacking a bit of sthing around the middle to break organised teams down in my eyes but they tried to knock it around conditions horrendous up there other than that old legs can't tell you anymore

Was 2-2 when i left with 5 mins to go, casement were decent but still an average 2nd division team,, the other center half was mcsweeny from Tower fc, who i thought was caught over the top a few times and his passing was poor,, i agree about three at the back not working, they played nice football across the back but gave away alot of ball in midfield, lynch was busy up front but missed some chances, thought they were better with kearney in midfield for second half but if they want to win next week, they need alot of improvment. Delea didnt come on, was the lad from douglas hall,

I wasn't der either but I no casements centre back was on goal as I no a lot if them they weren't too impressed by the aul team but I hope this was only a blip for them and that they do the league proud over the next few weeks.

To be fair the whole team was poor but we cant expect much more on a night like that, casement are better than they were given credit for. Horrendous conditions up there, lashing rain and gail force winds so we cant take too much from that game at all lads. Impossible to play in them conditions, ball was all over the place in the air and zipping off the surface at a ridiculous pace. All 3 at the back were dodgey but thats always going to be the case in them conditions, lloyd looked good and maybe lynch was ok other than that nobody in my opinion. Passing was quite good from all the lads the problem was making it stick. Pretty harsh to criticise any of the lads on a night like that i wouldnt fancy going out to try impress in those conditions. Think that was the strongest team that could have been picked and if the conditions were not so bad i think they would have won well.

sullivan kearny babbsy terence. stacky eammon mark vinny llyod. john cocoran and darren lynch. conditions were bad enough alright to be fair. 0-0 half time aul prob should have been in front. i thought the midfield was poor first half with the exception of mark nolan who tired after an hour but was the only 1 of the 3 in there too want the ball and get on it. raft of changes at half time. soft penalty to give away which was saved but nobody followed up and casement went 1 up. aul worked the ball a lot better second half i thought cans was the main reason for that got llyod into the game a lot and they got good joy down the right second half goal came from that side. casement went 2-1 soft free kick again quickly taken. aul had 2 or 3 chances then and got a spotter late on. a better excercise than i and a lot of fellas thought they would get anyway.

Guys, just a quick question. If a player has a long term suspenion from a league association in Ireland can they play in another association league, or does suspension carry. For instance if player A has a 12 month suspension from the Limerick Leagues can they play in the Cork AUL during that ban or is the ban national?

I would say is national as in the cork aul and limerick leagues are governed my mfa which in turn is governed by fai so my guess is it would be a national ban .
