Ya legs, finished 2-2. Overall probably a fair result. AUL will be disappointed after going a goal up with 10 to play but it would have been very harsh on the forces. Thought they were the better side second half, missed a couple of absolute sitters and AUL took the lead against the run of play. Entertaining enough game, no bookings, bit more work to do but important not to lose the first one! On a lighter note, game held up a few times due to no ball! Aparantly AUL had 5 and Forces 2 and all were banished! Gonna cost the AUL big bucks!!

Started 3-5-2. Shane, babsy,Keith. Kearney in middle with Mark, Eamon, LLoyd, Jeffers. J.C and Darren up top.
Keith played the best??? Are you nuts?? Anytime they attacked they got in his side and put a mountain of ball in his side, John was quiet enough but his finish was outstanding, the AUL were lucky as the defence forces had 2 or 3 of the worst misses I've ever seen in my life and that's no exaggeration the misses were that bad, suppose not to lose the first still gives them a chance so well done on that lads..

i missed the 1st half what i seen it was a good game hill is right danger was on left .keith done very well .
aul started 3-5-2 to my eyes anyway. first half was pretty even. aul got a good first goal great ball from mark nolan and a great finish from john..the equaliser was a poor goal to give away a corner and the guy from kanturk got across the front and headed home. turning point for me was eamonn going round the keeper and missing. goals change games and to go in with a lead at half time would have been a boost for the aul. defence forces were much the better side second half and should really have been out of sight. switch to 4-4-2 midway through the second half imagine thatll be the formation in the next game.. in the end a draw was probably a good result for the home team even with them going in front with 15 left. great cross for the equaliser but again poorly defended from an aul point.
