Didnt realise things were as tight as they were in the FD, I can't see Limerick not winning it (they had a wobble and still top), but Waterford have given themselves a great chance now of making the play off...............wouldnt that be interesting if it was v us, after the controversial match back in 1997, then again we did have a play off match since then, the 'no point playing' home & away games in 2006.............maxi-gate end to the season.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
I only wish there was a camera in Finn Park last night. An absolutely cracking second half of football. First was the typical boring first division crap, but holy jesus, that second half was worthy of anyone. Such fantastic entertainment and a couple of great goals. Kevin McHugh most definitely still has that touch of class, fantastic free kick scored by him.
If only we could cut out stupid schoolboy defensive errors we'd be much higher up the table than we are at present.

That goal came out of the blue. Ian Turner breaks and his shot gets a deflection and heads in past Gary Rogers in goal. Silence here.

1-2 now, Quigley straight from a free kick. From the sounds of the game so far, it'll be difficult for Cork to hang on.

That will do.
Was always going to be a tough test to get three points against an in form Cork side and being two nil down with only around twenty minutes left you have to be happy enough.
Good job sligo, put a tenner on ye at 6/5 for win/draw when ye were 1-0 down
It was a smashing game of football tonight in the showgrounds
