    Rockmount stun Monaghan

    Non-league side Rockmount shocked first division Monaghan United today, beating the 2-0 in the third round of the FAI Cup.
    Michael Deasy had gone close for Rockmount in the first half as his headed effort came back off the crossbar. He didn't let that prevent him being the hero of the hour.
    It was on the hour he broke the deadlock, slotting home from the penalty spot and with seven minutes remaining he got on the end of Pat Keane's cross to fire home a second.

    i thought that was an expectant performance/result for the mons against non-league opposition in the cup
