Looking forward to seeing how Patrick Kohlmann does against Real Madrid tonight. He's in for a long evening.
But Kohlmann plays for Union Berlin, not Dortmund?
Jake Carroll leaves Pats for Huddersfield

John O'Sullivan was on the bench a few weeks back against Peterborough, I think?
edit: it was the FA Cup tie against Milwall: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21735715
Good to hear. I always assumed he was English-born with a name like that but he's from the same part of Donegal as Conrad Logan and Barry McNamee.
Kyle, plus the double-barrelled thing tends to be more a feature of the second generation over there than it is here. Just some irrational assumptions on my part.
Fair enough. Kyle is a Scots-gaelic name derived from caol and is more frequent in Ulster than Scotland, as a surname at least. Had to look up his other name. Callan is most frequent in Donegal, Monaghan, Louth and Meath. McFadden of course is most frequent in Donegal. Haven't noticed the double-barrelled thing myself. The only people I know with it are English who've had it for generations.

Cork born, USA U20 midfielder Shane O'Neill interviewed on balls.ie: http://balls.ie/football/shane-oneill-interview/
Doesn't sound too pushed about playing for Ireland, but I wish him luck with the States.
Presumably O'Neill is another who qualifies through the statute black hole through gaining citizenship as a minor which presumably FIFA count as a permanent nationality.
The best part of that interview is that he's Maurice Fitzgerald's nephew. I expect he's a free kick specialist.
young bonham on for watford
Poor young bonham. Horrible start to his senior career. At fault for two goals supposedly as hull get promoted.
Just caught the end of it. He palmed a light chip that should have been relatively easy to deal with over his head and back into the goal. The Watford defence were nowhere to be seen, mind, as they pushed for a winner to win them promotion.
He hasnt been involved with us for a few years I think. he would be in the under 21 group now along with mcdermot and mccarey I suppose. Hopefully he gets the run for the playoffs.I wonder will they be able to bring in an emergency loan keeper considering the circumstances hopefully not for bonhams sake
