Not entirely sure what forum to put this in, but Brendan Devenney, who just got a 6 month ban for pushing a referee in the Fermangh-Donegal SFC Qualifier has just joined Limavady United.
Surely bans such as those should be across all sports. Could Glenn Lacey play for Louth in the next 2 months? Would Barry Ryan have been able to play for Dublin?
Makes a joke of the system really.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
I see where your coming from Brendy, but it's a different case with the drugs IMO.
I played in the USL with Brendan last year, and i reckon he'll give up the GAA altogether. I dunno why we didn't sign him. Would have been a good addition to our squad

When a man who says his first love is gah and then expects to waltz back into Harps squad and be paid on a par as our top players then I think its as well we turned him down.
I know the man and it is my view he should take a year out from all sports and just chill out and then concentrate on one sport be it gah or football.
