Patience was the key this morning first half Carew had Alot of the ball but only created a few half chances wembley was rewarded a pen on 15mins which Gordon brilliantly saved.
2nd half Carew upped the tempo and started creating good chances with 5 pen calls waved away there was 2 or 3 that looked pens. Wembley keeper was now pulling off fantastic saves tipping onto the post winning goal came on 80mins when john boyle picked the ball up from 25yrds who hit a rocket into the top corner Carew had 2 or 3 great chances after that to wrap it up but again the post and keeper was in the way.

Carew 1 Wembley 0,again this morning we are down 7 1st team players and had no option but to go into defensive mode,we just can't compete missing so many players and its beyond a joke at this stage,well done to Carew kept going and got their reward,best of luck to them for the season.
how are ye missing so many players,,ye gave a great display of defending yesterday and yere keeper pull off some fab saves,,, ye should be ok when ye get these players back,,,

Carew park look to have got off to a great start can they win the league, you have to give them a big chance on form.

Don't think carew will win the league,,pike are one of the best teams in junior football in Ireland,,they have a great squad of players,with a couple of junior internationals,,they will be to strong for carew park,,,,
Have to agree with you js79, after seeing Carew and Pike play on sunday i have to say Pike will win the League.. They look a far better team than Carew.. Carew play great football but Pike seem to be 2 steps ahead of any other Junior team in Limerick. Pike have strength all over the Pitch.. For the league itself i would like to see a Team like Carew win the league cause they seem to be putting alot into their Training and have a good squad and it would be great for the league to have another team part from the Boro pushing Pike all the way but i just cant see past another League title for Pike to be Honest...
Excellent post i agree pike are way to strong carew Will have to get something up in pike and win every single remaining league games that won't happen. E.G boro drew away to wembley last season and cost them the league that's what your up against.
Infairness boro's draw with wembley wasn't the reason they didn't win the league last year.. All they needed was a draw at home to pike second last game and they couldn't do that .. So that's where they lost their chance
Carew are well capable of getting something up in Pike Thomas and i don't think ye would have to win every other game to win the league
So far Fairview,Geraldines and Balla were very unlucky not to pick something up against Pike and Corbally beat them so u never no what could happen,2 very good teams and should be a great game when ye play eachother
I have watched pike a few times and i think carew could push them all the way, a few average teams that played pike this year should have got something out of the game.

the way your talking it sounds like Carew have given up already and your a committee member, btw Pike are leaking goals at the moment all a team has to do is keep a clean sheet against them and their in with a chance,
It's not a case of giving up,everyone up in carew would love to win the league,just compare the pike squad to the carew squad,,there is at least 6or 7 former and current junior internationals playing with pike,,they have players on the bench that would walk in to most prem teams,,carew will keep plugging away till the end of the season and hopefully we can finish in the top 4 or 5,,
As for winning the league don't thisk so,,,,
Spot on nobody in carew Will ever give up but we are realistic aswell about 3yrs or so ago we were fighting to stay in the league we built a team it took time we have improved every season last season we finished 3rd if we finish 3rd again this year great when you look at pike and boro Dec Nash another brilliant player to the boro squad it would be good going.
