ha ha i totally agree with you . The Cup was stopped when the Celcius shop closed in tralee over a year ago but it has opened again recently and the owner wants the cup to be played again . I heard a rumour last week that it was going to start but didnt believe it till i saw it on the kdl web page this week . Aparently it wont start till August and will be used as a pre season tournament for the bottom three divisions and non league clubs .Originally Posted by hoss

Camp now safe from relgation , Classic must play Spa Road on Thursday night where anything but a win for Spa Road will see them relegated . If they do win then Classic will be regalted who only need a draw to survive .

In theory its not such a bad idea if the season finished back in May. It'll be another 3 weeks at least till my season ends and then it'll be August again.
Also, Skeliga beat QPR 2-1 in the Henneberys Cup
Thanks for the result , didn't hear it . Ya it would be great to have it as a pre season tournament if the season ended early . Think the same should be done with the Castle Bar League cup like it was when the cup first started years ago .

How can a season still be running in late July. What date do they propose to start next season in kerry
I know it's crazy . The new league season is meant to start on August 18th but there is also a pre season knock out Cup starting the first week in August for the bottom two divisions . No break what so ever , some teams have already scrapped the idea of pre season training as they are still playing matches .
