In my opinion I think others in Kerry are afraid to post any comment here . Comments about the league were put on Facebook in last season and clubs were told any player who makes a comment against the league ,officials , players or teams could be suspended . As for the Cup Final there has been a lot of talk in Tralee about it all week long when you consider both teams home grounds are only 10 yards apart . It should be a close affair I think with very little to seperate them . St Brendan's were last seasons premier league champions while Tralee Dynamos had 8 ex league of Ireland players on their team .
As somebody who has little to do with the league, perhaps I am in a position to comment. To me the fact that the KDL are doing this is only further evidence that they are burying their heads in the sand. Once you silence your critics, it is very easy to pretend that nothing is wrong when it is. The Dynamos debacle is a clear example.
I agree that the Dynamos/Park clash is mouthwatering. Hopefully Radio Kerry will devote some bit of time to it. I'm not sure who will take the trophy but may the best team win anyway.

I totally agree that this is stupid , Players , Teams and supporters should be allowed have a say . As for the cup final let me just say this . The build up on Radio Kerry was terrible for the blue ribbon event in kerry cup soccer . Had the Pro of the leage on the show for 4-5 minutes the day before talking about the teams. He named 4 players from each side who could have an effect on the game but two of the players had emigrated . You think they might have contacted the clubs since in was a big local derby cup final .
The game itself never really got going as both teams cancelled each other out in terrible conditions . In the end I think St Brendans Park shaded it on the amout of possesion they had and scoring in the 88th minute left no time for a response . Not surprised by seeing three red cards in the game but a clear stamping on a player was missed but the match referee who otherwise had a good game .

Cup final was scrappy to say the least , both defenses well on top .The Park probably just shaded it . Dynamos very reliant on their over thirty Brigade. Cant beleive people are scared to post here when there was so much activity on the facebook page . Did the Pro not contact the clubs before he went on air ? What was the Dynamos Debacle ?
I reckon its over the facebook page that people dont post here anymore . In the past facebook pages on the league have been shut down due to comments being made .
No the PRO made no contact with either clubs from what I have been told but that is nothing new either .
