Limerick FC Vs Wexford Youths - 22/6/12 - Jackman Park.

We are back, the Euros are cool and all but down Carey's Rd to the Jacks of a Friday evening is where its really at. We know this.

A win here surely? With Longford facing a test of nerve trip to Donegal and the third and fourth placed sides playing each other it would be good to lay down a marker with a convincing win and performance.

Hopefully we will be coming back to this nice and fresh. As far as I know there has been no games on Jackman Park for the last few weeks also so the pitch should be in good nick. Wexford aren't a bad side though and are very dangerous on the counter attack.

Would like to see a line up like:

    Ryan

    Kelly
    Purcell
    Guthrie
    Tracey

    McGrath
    O'Leary
    Gamble
    Judge

    Behan
    Gaffney

Any word on Dominic Foley? Every few weeks it seems to be said that he is two weeks from recovery.

    Limerick 3-1 Wexford.

I think Judge is suspended for 2 games.

Few of the lads involved said they think he is suspended over getting sent off for Pike in the FAI.

I suppose that could be right cause it's a national comp. A pity though.

Good question. Is he training, at least?

Foley is turning out to be like Boland wouldn't be surprised if we don't see much if him at all before the end of the season.

By like Boland i mean we get to see a tiny bit of him he looks a cut above then he gets injured and doesn't make it back not having a go at Boland before anyones high horse is mounted.

He's back training as of last weekend. Garry Sheahan also back to light training, and Cian Collins expects to be back training in about two weeks.

Do think it'll a win, but Youth's won't be the pushovers they were the last time we played them in Jackman. Lot of suspensions/injuries for Limerick after all, but we should have enough to get the three points.

Well done again from start to finish result was never in doubt, disappointed to see gamble sent off but valuable 3pts and great credit must go to the manager.

Gambles double yellow was a joke as were 4 of the other 6 yellows given out by that clown MKell last night.

very average performance but in the end a well deserved 3pts,thought wexford put up a good show in the first and we were flattered by the 2 goal lead, they created more from play, should have scored with at least 2 great chances one great save by ryan, pen was very harsh to say the least.2nd half was much better and glad to see o leary score as he was excellent.agree with gael on the ref who had a shocker, poor decisions throughout, the pen, gambles bookings,3 to 4 other bookings, only thing he got right was wexford red card.pity about the poor crowd and pity about the constant language problem our manager seems to engage in when he is... up ..out of the dugout, from my seat i could hear it clearly throughout,no need for it.

Foley when he came on was outstanding his vision and touch are a level ahead of everyone else big decision now for scully does he bring foley back in if so who does he drop? I just hope he doesn't get a brain fart and put gaffney out on the wing when he is banging in goals up front.

Give out when he's quiet, give out when he's up and loud. It's true what someone else has said to me, the majority of people only come on this to complain. Just look how quiet it is after the wins against Longford and last night. If we had lost, there would be about 6 pages already of "Scully out"
