It makes no sence to keep good players out of Limerick Junior Soccer & forcing them to play in the Kerry or Clare leagues.

Heard today from a reliable source that Dermot Finnan is definitly leaving the Boro at the end of the season.

Why is he leaving, would he not stay and try make something of them or is it because their not that successful again this year, where will he go,

It's just a hunch as everyone agrees it's too close to call but I am not one for sitting on the fence hahaha!!!

Anyone else brave enough to call it ???
As I have said on the FAI thread I think that Balla will have too much class for Carew. Man for man they are the better team and Carew know that they would have been much better of avoiding the two Limerick teams. It will affect their discipline too much. If they go behind and they see their dream slipping away watch out for some red cards !!!

If you think Park are not good enough up front or at the back how they get this far True View ??

with the boro I think its a case of the players failing the manager, every manager has failed because its being the same base of players there for years, its too easy to just blame the manager

We are back talking about the Boro again I see - why are the players in that club getting blamed for everything? maybe its a case of the Manager failing the players? for the last 4 years its been the players asking for more and the Managers dragging their heals and stuck in the past. If you look at the clubs that are doing well at this time Fairview, Balla, Park, Pike, Carew

With the exception of Carew each of these clubs have a man in charge that actually puts effort and thought into training, into the drills and into preparing a team.

Compare this with the Boro that were asked to run around two footballs for half and hour without ever kicking a ball the last session before a munster junior quarter final or better still not train at all, not because the players don't want to but because the manager does not feel like it.

Under Jaws Ryan, Trevor Lovelle an FAI coach was brought in because the manager was not capable of taking a training session, this took months of fighting to get and lasted two sessions because Jaws said his training was not good enough and "would not get a fat person fit" the committee agreed?????????

Instead the team took part in a tactical session of genius proportions, stand around in the freezing cold while he worked on a free kick that involved nothing more than a player kicking the ball as hard as they can towards the goal and hoping for a deflection. A quality session.

I could go on but you must see my point by now, there is a very manageable bunch of players in that club but what they need is a manager. For what its worth I heard the rumour Finnan is out and they are looking to put someone new in. Jason O'Connor would be an excellent replacement and I am sure he would turn things around and get the boro back on track. But anything could happen in that club - maybe Jaws is on his way back?

Jaws 2 the revenge of the ...............

A strategically placed bollard would do a better job than any of the last few managers.

Most of the managers have been in and out in about 1 season. This can never be good unless your players are exceptional. We know the buch of boro payers are decent so maybe if a manager stuck at it instead of expecting instant success then they might actually get somewhere !!

They are simply not good enough at the back or up front.
Shane O'Connor is very overated in my opinion but if YE Poacher, get the big lad Russell to play, think he might be busy with the GAA though, ye will always have a better chance.
I think that PARK have a great chance.
As for Granville being VERY average. I was at that game against Waterford Crystal and they represented the Local league well. They were more than a match for a strong Waterford side and could have shaded it in the end. I think they deserve some credit for there efforts.

I believe that Park won their last game against Evergreen without out your budda Shane O'Connor so the rest can't be that bad !!!

    kenny hughes?

Do any of the Shannon lads know a player called Kenny Hughes? Used to play for a variety of teams in shannon, all of them at some stage I think. Anyway, he was one of the finest players ever to play in shannon, I think he moved to Cork. Does anyone know if he is around, or if he is currently playing ball?

I agree with lookout, give Park Credit,it is a job itself to get out of town, can't see park winning in Waterford but best of luck to them and also to Balla and Carew PK,
Carew, have a centre forward Jason Devlin, heard he knows where the goal is,does anyone know my=uch about him.....

Don't want to be bringing up the boro as it seems there is a lot
of unrest within the site but how true are the rumours of dermot finnan
    leaving the boro.
If so,will he be returning back to the view do you think.

What are the fictures for this weekend ?? Is the MJC down for decision?? What other Limerick teams are involved other than Fairview?? What are the prem league fixtures ?? Are Pike likely to strecth their lead again this week ??

Have not seen any paper this week and am in the dark! Appreciate if someone could let me know the fixtures along with your predictions for them..

On the Fairview tie , I would imagine that whoever wins the game will win the MJC! Anyone else got an opinion on the comp???
