Converting Audio Files from AMR to other

With only a couple of weeks to my Clinical Exams for my PG Dip, the same day we play Spain in Gdansk as it happens, I face a problem I faced last year. I recorded my taped sessions with my clients on my phone which is a HTC. The format for the recordings is AMR. Now I know the university cannot use those so I need to convert to something universal that can be heard say on Real Player or Media Player. God knows what they will actually need. Actually now I think about it the University Library changed this for me the last time round.

    Any help appreciated.

If you have itunes just load it into that and it'll automatically create an mp.3 version of it. Alternatively there is an online programme called Switch File Sound Convertor which has a 30 day free trial period and works perfectly to change to whatever format you need.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.

    That's easy ...... This is Super !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I reccommend Audacity to anyone doing work with audio files - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
It needs a plugin to work with AMR though, available from the downloads page: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/plugins
All goals, yellow and red cards tweeted in real time on mastodon, BlueSky and facebook

If you're going down that route, there's no better than Wavelab if you ask me.

Thanks lads. Had a programme on my laptop, DVD Converter when I tried, and failed to change my DVD's to MP4 to make them portable. It sorted my audio files out in seconds and the work is submitted.

Wavelab is the standard, but Audacity is free
