Just wondering what clubs are running Kids Soccer Camps this year?
Cork City will have three weeks this year, Nicely priced as well i think.
Any other clubs have them planned?
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Harps just ran a successful Goalkeeper camp in Finn Park.
Nothing like teaching kids how to concede goals properly.

Pats are doing one in August. Think John Russell is the main person doing it
Here on a technicality.
Dundalk run the Barry Kehoe Soccer School every summer:

What about Bohs, Derry and Rovers? Surprised that there aren't more doing them to be honest. Not only is it a chance to earn a bit of money, its a way to build a fan base.
Bit more on soccer schools that are taking place -> www.summersoccerschools.ie -> Early booking discount available on here as well
Edit: Rovers has a camp in April alright, nothing for the summer yet though. Sligo has indoor and outdoor camps on since 2008 but no sign of any in 2011 or 2012

I know, but if LOI Clubs aren't running them then there aint no competition ..... Its something which is very doable, most clubs already have the resources and the ability to do this. Most have a brand of sorts in their community and every clubwould like toneeds to market to that exact age profile. Running these camps for 10-15 years could completely transform match nights for a club, it just needs a bit of hard work.
