Great game in horrid conditions mungret went one up and we responded then went 2-1 up just before half time. A penalty for mungret squared things up after halt time before we went ahead again, we then had a player dismissed but managed to nick one on the break and hold out for a tough win. Mungret threw the kitchen sink and some at us but we managed to hold on. Mungret are a massive side physically and will be very strong this yr IMO. Good hard game and genuine best wishes Ro mungret for the test if the season

This game could have ended up 10 a piece with pike missing at least 5 or 6 one and one-s and granvile the same played on a very soft pitch in bad conditions pike were missing 8 or 9 player's im sure zizou will fill in the rest

Balla B looked poor enough tonight Shannon really took control in 2nd half fella came on for them on the right caused balla all sorts of problems..good win for moyross too heard fairview had only 11 though

On a separate note, games IMO should be cancelled the wkd, our pitch will be unstable for weeks after tonight's game id say
I think draw would have a fair reflection on this game. Dromore went 1 up in first half. Caherdavin equalised 15 mins into 2nd half with cracking free kick. Keeper error 2 mins from time handed Caherdavin the winner

Mungreat were on top for first 15 mins when they scored with great finish, Summerville got a goal against the run with a great strike from the center half... 30 yard stunning free kick put Sville 2-1 up at half time.. Then they gave away a stupid penalty with a silly handball, 2-2 with quality pen.... Sville went 3-2 up with another great strike.. Sville were reduced to 10 men before summerville broke away to finish Mungreat off at 4-2... the top 3 Goals of the season could have been picked from this match last night... Awful conditions with service water gathering near the end of the match.. the pitch has taken a set back and i wudnt see a match going ahead there for least a week. I normally wouldnt complain about refs as its a tough job but the ref tonight was shocking and i wont name him.. very lucky no one broke a leg and Sville received no help from this man with Mungreat getting majority of discisions. he seen body checks, pulling jerseys and summerville keeper took a hard knock and nothing given... The sending off was appauling, never was it a yellow. the man won the ball as you could see with way the balls direction and the challenge was 35 yards from goal with cover around him so he wasnt last man. Overall Mungreat are a good side that lack energy/ pace but are strong i can see them been in around the top half at the end.. Summerville looked great going forward lightening quick on that performance I reckon top 3 at least

I think a fair enough summary footballer16! I thought the conditions had a big impact on the game. In fairness the third goal was at least 3 yards offside, but you are right I wouldnt of sent the centre half off. I think it was a free alright & probably a yellow but no way was it a red. Id disagree with you about us getting the majority of decisions - in fact i thought it was the other way around. Then again I think you always feel the other team does better then you!
Overall i thought Summerville just about deserved their win. I think every team wont look forward to going down to Portland this season - and Summerville will be there or thereabouts at the end. Hopefully we can start our season sunday at home to Balla B. Best of lick to Summerville for rest of year.
Ya our third goal was at least 3 yards offside which tell us how bad the ref was that night. Highlight of the match was ye're linesman falling twice it was hilarious. Thanks and best of luck for the season as I'm already looking forward to another battle against ye in ye're place.
