I don't think it's over yet granted it will be hard to catch them.. But the fight is Definately on for 3rd only 4 points separating 6 teams .. Too hard to call.. Both games this weekend will be worth watching will be hard to decide which I'll go to

Granville Rgs 3 - 2 Moyross Utd
A hard earned win in the end for us but we could and should have won by more. We led 3 nil in the 2nd half but Moyross showed great character to stay in the game by scoring 2 late goals to push us all the way to the finish. We played the last 20 mins with 10 men after our centre half was sent off for a 2nd bookable offence.

By far the best team in the division .. 28 points from a possible 33 is great going.. 3 more wins should see them promoted

Looking at the league table anyone from Caherdavin to Shannon town could be in with a shout for the 2nd promotion spot looks very tight with only a couple of points seperating each team, what are Shannon Towns chances of claiming it how are they this year?

I've watched Shannon town 2/3 times this year .. They seem to be a fairly young team who maybe over play it sometimes. They played very well v Granville but lost. 2-1., can't see them going up though as they don't score enough . I'd say 2nd will be between Summerville and mungret

1A Cup Quarter-Final Result:

Granville Rangers 0-0 Pike Rvs B

Granville won 5-3 on pens.

A good result at the end of a tough night at Jackman Park for our A team. We had several chances throughout the 90mins and in extra time to win this tie, but it went all the way to penalties. Pike missed their third kick, whilst Stephen Cahill, Neill Mc Gourty, Cian Byrnes, Kenneth O Donoghue and finally Niall Doran converted for us. On to the semi-finals, well done to John, Brian O'Doherty Vinny Coffey and the squad. And well done to the supporters who braved freezing temperatures.
