Pretty disappointing we had to watch an Ireland team playing in Sligo on Italian TV, and they had a full TV crew at the Showgrounds

I don't think I've ever seen an U21 game on Irish TV (unlike tons of rugby underage and A games...). Sky showed a few but we haven't featured in maybe 2/3 campaigns? pretty much since Setanta and ESPN took the rights to the England u21s from Sky I'd imagine

you'd think someone like TG4 or 3e would snap up the rights, or even Newstalk to give radio coverage, but no.

Anyone know when ground will be confirmed for game versus turkey...hopefully stays in Showgies

Noel King has said that he hopes it'll be in Sligo and that the association are aware of his and the team's wishes. It just hasn't been confirmed yet.
