Shels 2-1 Mons
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Pats looked the part tonight. Possession football they played was very impressive.
Pats fans bus had its windows smashed....never had any issues in Derry before.
5-0
Excellent performance from us tonight. Controlled the game for the most part. Drogheda had a good spell after half time but we got on top again for the last 20. Thought Quigley was excellent. Hopefully can start playing well at home soon enough (i.e. tomorrow week)
I just bet the way i want.Lads use to give me "their" betting systems which were always useless, so for the most part i just do whatever comes into the head when im in the bookies(no major plan or system) Happy days for once.I will stop Cork,Shels,& Bray this week by having a crafty 3x€10 doubles and a €10 treble
Handling the injuries to key personnel as fringe players grow into the job. Still have a pressing need for at least two good signings IMHO, but I'll take top of the table at this stage.
"Even if the wind stops to blow
Even if the sea ceases to flow
Even if the sun ceases to rise
The name of Sligo Rovers will shine and shine forever like the morning star glittering in the sky."
Given the poor weather it was'nt a bad game in Turners Cross. We looked good with that in mind going forward. Vinny , Daryl, Purcell and Morrissey all had decent games. Our defending for the Dundalk goals was poor to be honest an despite the weather, the defence and the keeper probably should have done better.
Premier division table does'nt look all that bad from City's perspective.
Yeah, Terryland is being wasted with those numbers.

We have a better defensive record than Shams...
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
Keep on hoofing :d

Jayo's finish last night was class.
Bray Wanderers: So good they were relegated twice (and still stayed up).
Not even close. All sorts of stories going around. The FAI helped engineer this situation, so I can see them doing anything they can to stop it from collapsing during the season.
I have very little faith in the FAI, but I can't see them allowing this situation continue.
Last night.
61 people at a League of Ireland game is sad and it is difficult to see how Salthill can improve unless the FAI give them a grant to pay for better players and market their matches in order to attract more people. Both have to be done. Their is no point on spending money on promotion if the soccer on display is rubbish, and having been to one of their games this year their players are of a very poor ability who are unable to produce any decent football. Because Salthill like Mervue are a members club is it not possible for a millionaire owner to bankroll them so it is over to the FAI.
ps I was more enjoyable to watch this type of soccer in a setting like Drom than in Terryland.
The FAI have given Salthill enough money already. Posters are up for Salthill games around town, nobody cares. Hundreds of Galway soccer fans are staying away from the joke of franchise. Galway United U19's were getting better crowds than Salthill. Terryland will be a sell-out in August for a Galway United / West United V Aston Villa Legends game. Until GUST are involved in a truly representative Galway team nobody will go to Terryland. Been watching LOI in Terryland since 1986, I live in Salthill I will never pay to watch Salthill play in the LOI and neither will most LOI fans in Galway.
