APOEL drew away to Sparta Prague and were very unlucky not to win. Their opponents would have been Tirana of albania for a place in the champions league.
We nearly had an Albanian or Cypriot team in the Champions League.
Outside of the big 6 0r 7 i really dont think there is much between the various leagues in europe.
I actually think that the LOI is one of the few leagues not to have much difference between the top team and the bottom. Going into a match yopu dont know wether you'll win or lose. Thats not the case in many leagues
That Copenhagen result was amazing. I'd never heard of Gorica before and went (unsuccessfully) hunting in a atlas to try to find where it was. It's either not a place or it's really small.

Gorica is near the Croat border just off the Ljubljana - Zagreb highway, nearer Zagreb.
