UP THE REBEL ARMY!!!!!! EH
I've got to say lads while I always want el teams to do well in Europe, it's a totally different matter when it comes to Shels.
They are a bunch of thugs who think they can do what they like and would gladly see all other clubs destoryed if it meant they would get some personal gain from it.
Ollie Byrne is a disgrace to the human race and if it wasn't for him I'd consider supporting Shels.
Why do City fans want them to do well though? Considering the clubs horrible attitude towards Pat Dolan and CCFC in recent times, we owe them nothing but bad wishes.
I might even go to the game on Wednesday but I'll go as a City fan who wants to see a Champions league game involving one of Europes top clubs. I'll be hoping Shels pick up a few injuries so that it will be even easier for us to humiliate them on Saturday.
Anyway, City achievments in Europe were far better.... Malmo and NEC are a lot better than Rekyvick and Hajduk. There were 508 members of the Rebel Army in Nantes, I wonder how many Shels will bring to Spain?!
Roll on Saturday when the thugs come to town and face the mighty Rebel Army. Come on City!
Champions!
My arse. Cork made the quater finals of the inter toto cup. If they won that competition they would have gotten a place in the first round qualifyers of the UEFA cup. The worst Shels can get now is a place in the first round qualifyers in the UEFA cup, in other words the worst we can do is equal what you would have got had you won the whole competition.Originally Posted by Colm
cant wait for saturday now. even thinking about that poxy clubs get my blood boiling![]()
You've got one large chip on your shoulder. What about the coefficient. It benefits all the EL Clubs.Originally Posted by Pablo

Once again we can depend on a Hoop to add an intelligent comment to a discussion

Cork City: Making 'Dream Team' seem realistic since 2007.
On the domestic side of things I hate everything to do with $hels, the main reason is their pathetic support and Ollie Bryne. How a team can be full time with an average gate of 1,000 always had me confused.
Anyway, in europe i hope they progress as its good for Irish domestic soccer in lots of ways. Particularly to stick two fingers up at English premiership fans who couldnt tell you the first thing about the Cities they support over there.
One big issue i will have however is if our FAI cup match on Friday 20th is called to be re-arranged............If $hels are a full time team then playing Deportivo 4-5 days after a domestic cup match should not be an issue.

i couldnt care less about deportivo or shels. but if shels win it'd be bad news for us for obvious reasonsOriginally Posted by tiktok
only in Ireland i tell you. rivallry is probably the biggest thing in football its what makes it grow. shouting for your own against someonr else.
i assume you'll be able to stop supporting shels on saturday yeah or will you be in the away section?
one club. one life.

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!
BA!!!!!
Lads, I think its win win
1. $h£l$ win: good for eL co-efficient, keep "we are all one in Europe" lot happy.
2. $h£l$ lose: Don't get to Champions league group stages, don't go on to dominate eL, keep "I don't want $h£l$ to win" lot happy.
As I am in both camps, I certainly will be happy tomorrow night!![]()
(btw, I don't really understand why its so wrong not to support a rival club)
