    Good morning League Cup Champions

It hit home around 7pm last night that I wasn't going to be there...but these things happen. I wish I was there to see Barry lift the Cup but Congrats Longford Town....

Anyone with photos please post the somewhere!!

    Thanks!

Cheers north of the lee.I have to say though i thought the Town were a bit below par last night but it's the result that counts and after last seasons heart break it was justice served.2 good goals from the Town and Mick Dempsey done well even though he doesn't command his area very well and is afraid to come for crosses.Bohs missed a couple of sitters and even though teams may look down on this competition Bohs were pretty much at full strenght.Shame they travelled in such a small number.Roll on the rest of the season and long may our good form continue.

Great to see another trophy go to Longford. Now, don't mess it up & get relegated - this just goes to show that Longford have a quality team who should be battling for a european place (again) NOT looking to avoid the drop

Fair play to Garto for fixing up the sponsorship deal!!! sounds like i missed a hell of a night in John Joe's, well done to Mick Dempsey too, thought it was a nice touch to have him in the final lineup seeing as he's played in all the League Cup games!

Yeah the D4 references are a bit coincidental alright..Still we'll give this latest incarnation a chance
