The 51, 51B, 78A buses all stop along Emmet Road, close to Richmond Park. These buses leave the City Centre at Aston Quay and travel to Neilstown, Bawnogue and Quarryvale, respectively. The 79 bus stops at Sarsfield Road, which is a five-minute walk from Richmond Park. This bus leaves the City Centre at Aston Quay and travels to Ballyfermot. The 19 bus stops at Bulfin Road, around the corner from Richmond Park. This bus leaves from Cedarwood Road on the north side of the city and travels to Bulfin Road. The 68 and 69 buses both stop along Tyrconnell Road, a five-minute walk from Richmond Park. These buses leave the City Centre from Aston Quay and travel to Newcastle and Rathcoole respectively. Further information can be got by ringing Dublin Bus at (01) 873 4222
Travelling by train: Richmond Park is five minutes by taxi from Heuston Station. The 79 bus passes by Heuston Station and stops in Inchicore.

    Are You Walking?

When you come out of Heuston by the main entrance where the busses are waiting to your extreme right you'll see the Eastern Health Board building. It's a beautiful big old yellow building with a stretch of grass in front of it.
Running up along the right of this building is Steevens Lane. This is closed to traffic due to work for the LUAS. As far as I know you can still walk up there though.
If so, walk up to the top of that road and you'll be at a junction with James' St. Where all the Guinness buildings are. About a 5 minute walk from the station. There is a fork in the road there where the road to your left goes back into town and to your right the road splits in two. One is almost where you've just come from and the road over going to your right goes out to Inchicore. James' Hospital is out there. Just make sure you go out James' St. Any bus going away from town out that road should be going to Inchicore and will cost you 60p. Just tell the driver that you want to go to Richmond. You must have exact change for the bus. The bus will take 7 or 8 minutes to get out there.

    Hope that helps.
    Enjoy the game.

    Thumbs up Emmet Road

I concure with our asian correspondent.

Alternatively at this point just walk away from the city past St James Hospital, Emo service station, through next junction onto Emmet Road & shouldn't take more than 15mins.
