De Town finally won last night. great result it was to. By all accounts they deserved the win. What the hell was the ref thinking giving the Pen. it was free out but going by Ref standards in the eL, he would go with the oppisite decision.

well we got the result and thats all that matters

Good performance, especially first half where we were in total control and should have scored two more. Ref was shocking though, again. Man of the match would be either Dessie or Deano who both had good games, Deano probably shades it for the added bonus of doing Alan Reynolds with a thumping challenge forcing him off injured (he's had a taste of his own medicine coming for a while), didnt even give away a free!

Away jobhunting in London for a while, funny that Town win in the league as soon as i go. Think ill stay here if thats what it takes! Well done Town, we can get out of this mess...

A hugh result for the Town which hopefully will kick start a run of good results. This win in real terms is more important then the League Cup Final as it shoves Dublin City and Roddie further into the mire. A few more similiar results will see Longford leapfrog two more teams. Well done to the team and an added bonus to see Alan Reynolds get a touch of his own medicine.
