    Sligo Match

All in all a much improved performance from the last home match, defensively we looked more solid , sweeney looked very comfortable beside danny.. Houston is a much better midfielder than defender, when he gets the ball he goes on some lovely runs and causes trouble, O hanlon also put in some nice runs down the wing and caused issues with the defense..

About the goals, sligo's first, they only had one attacker in the box and bray could not mark him, the second again not marking up, how can you give a player that much time to turn for a shot..

Like i said last night was a much improved and good match, hopefully they can keep this momentum for the next matches..

Thought ye were decent enough and should do alright this season. That Hanlon fella looks like a good player.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

the subs came on way too late, i think the ,main difference was fitness levels , sligo in 2nd half were able to keep the ball for long periods. ndo ran the midfield . our season will not be made by games against the professional teams. i think we will be ok this season

Agree that subs came on too late. Changes should have been made 10 minutes earlier. We were not as good in the 2nd half so a few changes might have helped.

Agree cant understand why devo put 3 subs on in the last minute,, jayo was dead with 20 minutes left and devo could have put subs on then, sligo did show there better fitness in the second half ,but saying that the team is coming together better so he is doing something right...
