Wasn't at the game the weekend but from what I hear Westport were well worth there 3-0 win. Terrible terrible result for us as I thought we would pick a draw anyway. Title good as handed to Moy Villa especially if they beat Kilmore. we now gonna be in a major struggle to hold on to 2nd with the form we showin since the cup final.identical to last season sadly. Mulranny really in form again after lookin certs to go down a few weeks back.

    villa 2 - 3 Charlestown

great game played at high intensity... turning point was when the town players seen ml turn up to present moy villa with the league cup before half time... villa went 1 up before a howler from villa keeper let a back pass straight into the net 1-1. town started brightest in 2nd half and another mess from the keeper made it 2-1 for the away side. villa scored from a corner which went out of play before coming back in and was bundled into the net in a scrum like effort 2-2. town got the winner with 15 minutes left after a ball played across the box was tapped in at the back post. Title still up for grabs. Well done Moy Villa on promotion excellent football side.

D day today in the league, a win for Moy Villa will surely see them win the league but they have a very tough task away to the port as its one of the toughest grounds to go to. We just hoping for a win that will seal promotion tho will get nothing easy from killala battling relegation and a disasterous home form this season to boot...

Ctown 0-1 killala... Still don't know how we didn't get a win here, there keeper had one of those days where he would not be beatin but that is no excuse for terrible finishing. Credit to killala tho who battled well. Made matters worse when we heard port got the draw. On the upside we got promoted anyway tho it's not over yet huggie, if we win and villa lose it goes to a playoff and with the way the season has gone you never know. Doubt that will happen tho

On the first Villa has not won the league, thet are at least guarinited a play-off, as for the the game today,a great result,a back to the wall performaance,a goal in the first half from Lee,we spent most of the match defending herocitaly,in the secound half we had a definate goal not given when he deemed a ball had not crossed the line,as for oue third choice keeper, most of the saves was routine except he pulled off a unbelievable save,Congrats on Charlestown and Moy Villa on promotion, next week we can do each other a favour,we bat Villa and ye beat Mullraney and we wikk be all hapey.

Apologies to Ballyglass,Charlestown are not guarenteed promotion, makes for a interesting final day at the top and the bottom, the only things we know is that Iorrais B are relegated and Villa aare promoted,15 points would have kept us save last year,

    Killala 1-1 Moy Villa
The first half was an even enough, Durkan scored an early goal in the secound, pressed and mark was unluckly to hit the podt from outside the area,Leroy latched onto ro a pas to equalise, afterwards Giggs hit the post, the last 5 minutes was a case where we knrw Charlestown was leaading and a draw suited us both, ran the ckock, every one knew the situation excepy the ref?,the ref was so bad he did not give us even nothing,

Mulranny 2 4 Ctown. Decent game played on terrible pitch, 1 all at ht after we took the lead then went 2-1 up early n 2nd half only for mulranny to equalise with 15 to go. We kicked on then and scored 2 quick goals the last a stunner from 30 yards. When game was finished was tense wait as we heard Killala had Villa on the back foot but wasn't to be. Everyone gutted in the end as we wud have loved to get a crack at Villa in a playoff but last weeks result was the killer for us in fairness. Can't argue with Villa taking title as they great side and only lost 2 all season so fair play to them. Credit to killala takin 4 points off top 2 in last two too stay up tho. Unlucky on mulranny who iv no doubt will walk the division next year cause they decent side.
Onto next year now and if we can get Paddy Mac back playin have no doubt we will give premier A a good crack, he scores 30 goals a season in his sleep and have no doubt this season would be different if he played. Well done to all anyway was a great season and every game was played in good spirit

Has the draw been made for the League 2 playoff,if this is one of the ties where wikk iy be played ,could it played in Rangers home pitch or Maybe in Killala rather having the 2 teams traveling to Milebush, last year our play-off against Ballyheane was played in Charlestown.
