Was not at the game, one of them days, 3 down after 20 minutes, mising a few players. It must have been very bad for it to be abandoned, the division is wide open after 4 games.

Kilmore taking a point and the rest of last nights results has really tightened up the division, taking Moy Villa on 11 and Iorrais on the other 6 teams are covered by onlly 2 points with Killala and Iorrais with a game in hand olso Westport and Mulranney have a game in hand.

Charlestown 1-0 moy villa. Neither team had many clear chances. Charlestown got the luck for goal. Draw would have been fair.

Very tight from the top to bottom,it has the makings for a great season. chance for Moy Villa to be knocked off the top for the first time this season with them not playin this weekend so given the way the season is goin I'll predict 3 draws:-)

Johnny i would say is fitting in well in the social scene in Charlestown now for quite a few years now,he is that type of person he will fit in anywhere very easily. The gane on Saturday is now the only match on,the other 2 are postponed till Thurs night due players playing for the Mayo masters.

    Killala 2 - 3 Charlestown Ath.

Poor first half gave aaway 3 goals,2 of them was goaal keepers blunders, but a couple of changes particuler at h.t changed the game in the secound half, good move resulted in Keano pulling 1 back and a stunner from Lee with a couple left but just could not an equiliser.Morocco got the secound for Charles from a yard out.

If I'm going by this report, it seems to me that Killala had the better of the second half, would that be correct??

No, they probably had more of the ball alright but scored on there only shot on target in the second and were not given a sniff if I'm being honest. We hit woodwork 3 times in 2nd and 2 one on ones and were well in control only for there late 2nd. Killala good side though and was a great win for us. Wouldn't be writing them off they will be well capable of putting a few wins together...
