    Mayo League Premier B 2012

With the new season just 2 weeks away how do people think it will go,who will be challenging for promotion and who will be fighting relegation. Moy Villa if its true that they have alot of players from Ballina Utd. from last seabon,as for ourselves we have a no of players older players back + some good young players coming through,so would be very confident of being there or there about at the end of season, had a couple good results pre season.

It will be hard to call really. There seems to be a lot of teams struggling for numbers this year, anyone confirm that ?

Gonna be very tight league to call this year and a case could be made for any teams goin up but gonna have to go with ourselves anyway and can't decide another so gonna go with Mulranny purely
cause they gave us a good drink out of the cup at the awards night:-)
We played Moy Villa tho it was a bank holiday and there was not a sober head on the pitch they are a good side but won't be runnin away with anything. Westport ones to watch, hear they have no C team this year so they should have a hell of a good squad...
Good luck to all for year ahead anyway...

    Moy Villa 1 - 1 Killala

Very bad sportmanship shown by the home club when our young striker comitted a foul they shouted at the referee too book him as he had been booked in the first half, which the referee duly did. A great batling performance too come from a goal down and a man down too draw.

Charlestown 0 2 Mulranny. Not many complaints we were absolutely shocking. Had bulk of possession but never looked like scorin but then again neither did Mulranny until they scored a good headed free kick from Charlie above all people at the back stick. Ref blew when we were clean through for offside near the end which wud have levelled game. Second goal scored when we went all out attack near the end. Once again didn't beat Mulranny they really are our bogey team. First league game lost at home in 4 seasons so fair plate to them...

Great start to the season for us. It's a tough division this year. Don't know who I'd see going up just yet. Will have to see how the first few game go. It's hard to call as don't know how other squads are fixed with so many having difficulties with numbers. The joys of the times we live in.....
