SO any ideas of if/who we (GE ) playing tonight . We're down for Speedline and they played us on Monday . The team we were supposed to be playing on Monday are now allegedly playing the teachers tonight . No word back from the organisers !!! Speedline were good on Monday .... thought they were in the top group !!!

Just found out that Teachers v Ul tonight was changed to Teachers V GE.
Match fixed for 7 at Cals.

This tournament is really gone to the dogs, lack of organisation, illegal teams, and no communication....................finish it for good at the end of the season and do us all a favour

Going the way of the inter pub it seems. Most these competitions start out as a friendly game of football between people who don't regularly play junior soccer and are up for a game of ball but turn into teams full of ringers and get too competitive.

totally agree,watched a game the other night,saw at least six players playing with a certain team that are unemployed.ruining the interfirm....

this interfirm is a joke lads.going back years ago it was excelently ran and you would 100% have to be working with who you are playing for.going back to the times when you had the likes of wang,an post,atlas aluminium,sps etc they were the good times when it was ran properly.

ah memories!!! played with a team back in the eighties were we had the oscar trainor front three(all legal).
we also had a panel of 16 premier players.
it was a fantastic comp. back then,with a few hundred people coming to cals park to see the big clashes.
no guest players,but it was competitive,just as much as junior soccer was.
those were the days

All the same though= Zimmer are new to the competition and playing in the top group- I watched Speedline last week and look if most of the team is illegal then that is bad enough, but how are they playing in the second division??
Surely these lads would want to compete against the better teams and try to win rather than giving poor teams a hiding and walk through the league- people that desperate for a medal??
