City spoke to him, Bohs spoke to him.
Bohs offered him more money and a probable first team slot..
City offered him less money and told him he'd have to fight for his place.

    He chose Bohs.
I don't see how it makes him a Judas though, he's never expressed any allegiance to CCFC in my memory, in fact it's the second time he's turned the club down.

I'm just saying it isnt right for a corkman to play for the Dubs......Morley is the only one i can think of in living memory and he was never accepted after that

I don't see a problem with it at all tbh

It upsets when CCFC players go to Dublin but as for Cork men...

    Derek Coughlan did it
We'd claimed Noel Mooney long enough as one of our own, he did it
Paul Rose went from our youth set-up to Pat's
Greg might do it within a fortnight

Football is a short career, players follow money and the better chance of a game. I don't why anyone is that bothered about that lanky strip of p(iss)primadonna Foley.

Fair enough if Foley wants to make that choice. Clearly money had a big factor in his decision & can't really judge him for that.

I don't think Boihs will get a shred of sympathy if they come out at end of season pleading poverty when continuing to add to their squad.

You hit the nail on the head there mate.

It may be a religion for the supporters but when it comes to our careers we all have to make decisions to suit our own best interests when there are bills to be paid.
    Give the guy a break.
He never promised anything to us.
Luckily for us a certain Wexford lad and a few English lads chose to join our club.

When Kearney came back from Forest, he went to Bohs too. If Bohs did not say they did not want him, he would not be with city either...
