These are the fixtures down for decision this weekend.

    6th Round
    Pike V Bath Rangers

    7th Round
    Tramore V Killester
    Rosegreen V Galway Hibs
Ballynanty V West Utd (to be confirmed)
Waterford Crystal V Salthill Devons (provisional)
    Peake Villa V Bellurgan F.C.

If these game go ahead as planned, I fancy Pike, Tramore, Galway Hibs, Ballynanty, Waterford Crystal and Peake Villa.

Mind you I have seen Rosegreen from Tipp South's field before and I wouldn't fancy playing there, it's a soccer field played across a hurling field....so Rosegreen have a good advantage even though I'll go for Hibs in this one.

rosegreens preparation hasnt been great loosing there last two games but i have a funny feeling they ll click on sunday. They have some very good young players but also have very experienced players at the back and midfield. they are very hard to beat at home and even though the pitch is a gaa field its actually not a bad pitch.an interesting fact about rosegreen is that they only reentered tipp league 5 years ago. they went from bottom to top division in successive seasons and are now in premier division in south tipp league

Yes Crystal won 2-0, Kilester won via an injury time penalty.

    Killester
    Galway Hibs
    Ballynanty
    Waterford Crystal
    Bellurgan F.C.

None of them anything to write home about, its wide open this year. The teams still standing will never get a better oppertunity to win this competation. Home quarter final draws will be decisive in all four games.

Pike Rovers beat Bath Rangers....at last....3-0. They now play Westport next week at home for a place in the last 8. They still have to concede a goal in the competition.

Both these games are down for decision next weekend...Park rangers are showing poor form in their last 2 games..they have had two 1-1 draws against Charleville and Abbey - both away games, and no disrespect to both of those teams but Park should be winning these games if they fancy there chances in any cup this season..But as they say cup football is all on the day and I would fancy Park and Carew to win these games

was at the pike game yesterday, bath were poor enough but put up a good fight, they never really troubled pike at all, pike seemed to step up a gear at the start of the second half, scored two quick goals and it was game over after that, going to take a good side to knock pike out, they must be favourites now

Carew Park, Trim, Park Rangers and Evergeen all poor sides. Saw Evergreen yesterday they were beaten by Freebooters in Kilkenny. Whoever gets the winner of Park Rangers and Evergeen in the quarter final will have a handy one. Balla, Pike and crystal all very good home teams. Crystal only beaten once this season, that was by Carrick in the Munster Jnr. Cup.

    westport

Wesport are the top team in Mayo they play summer soccer so all they have been playing in the last few months is fai or provincial cup they beat a cork side away from home last round 3 - 1 i think
castlebar who where beaten handy in end 3 - 1 by balla are the second team in Mayo
Westport also beat balla a few years ago at home in the FAI 1 nil balla were all over them but couldn't score......... think westport are stronger now
Can't see them beating pike away

Park Rangers will prove to be a good cup team this yr in all cup competitions as will CAREW PARK..Both teams can be very strong on their day and thats what cup football is - all on the day. Park have lost 1 game all season in 90 mins of football and lost on penos to j'boro in mjc and not conceded too many goals so dont see how they will be an easy tie for any team. Im sure evergreen are a strong outfit also - there not in the last 16 for nothing.
