    De Arena

There's a feature in yesterday's Arena about the soccer scheme they have going in Colaiste Stiofian Naofa and about Gunther's involvement with it. Very interesting...

Yeah, a 2-page spread with plenty of quotes from some of the lads on the course. Try and track it down if you haven't already seen it.

    Thumbs up

I read it too, very interesting. Sounds like a great setup for the players and also for clubs around Cork. In a short time it has given us Colin P and Damien O Rourke. If these guys are training 5 days a week and playing on Sundays, then they can be more or less considered professional. Alot of influence from City on the course, which is good for the club too.

Can only mean good things really, as long as some Premiership club doesn't hear of it.

He does look very timid with the press doesnt he? He was just as boyish in the Soccer Show a short while afterwards. He has had alot of pressure put on him in a very short time.
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

yeah, apparently he's a pretty shy fella. all the more reason to make sure certian idiots don't wreck his confidence over one or two bad games.
