Rovers Limerick draw of the round. Loved the way the panel tried not to talk about it. Could Limerick be live on tv for the first time since 1980? Nah who am i kidding this is limerick

That game and the Derry v Finn Harps one definitely the stand out ties. Delighted with the draw, nerves were shot when Rovers in Tallaght came out and we hadn't been drawn yet
    Here on a technicality.

Happy that we got a home draw .

Im sure an interested spectator that night in the Cross will be John O'Sullivan the ex Cork City chairman who has recently been appointed Athlone Town CEO.

Dundalk v St Pats CY not Sheriff YC

Happy enough Blues drew the Toffees (Everton). Beat them 3-1 last time we played nine years ago with Vinny Sullivan's first hat-trick for us.

after you spanked us in richmond and the way we're playing under Kenny i dont think you'd have much to fret about ps.

Limerick could be a tricky tie, some decent players there. with scully and a few ex hoops in the ranks im sure a visit to the league champions will be enough to get them up for the tie. Get past this round a non league team would be nice.

Not for a little while I'd imagine. They'll be either Friday or Sunday though as ireland play Bosnia on the Saturday

Slightly expensive, maybe? What price were they last year?

Personally, I'll be going for a terrace ticket. The view from the away stand at the Oval is very poor.

I know still wrong thread, but I feel it deserves a bit more attention that going down to the U19s forum.

2-2 at half time. Real pity its a midweek game, not least because the players have exams coming up. I think 3 of the City squad have their leaving cert in a month.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    Much of an attendance?

Standard of football from what I've seen and heard in the u-19s league this year has been very very high.

apparently 400ish with about 50 from Cork. Can't help but think a Saturday game would have had a much better attendance that that.

Belter of a match last night, both sides got stuck in from the start and it was a game worthy of the occasion.
Well done Cork on the win and bad luck to a very game and spirited Dundalk side.
