5621 at Sligo Rovers vs St Pats.

Fair play to all the Pats fans who stayed on long after the final whistle to applaud, touch of class.

A few hundred German fans in the crowd of 1800 in Tallaght. Did UCD get a German subsidy as well yesterday?

Danny Furlong whose girlfriend was murdered during the season, but who still ended up the division's top scorer? Have to admire the fella.

What has that got to do with people singing "Score if you want we're still the champions".

I mean fair play to him its brilliant for him and it was tragic what happened but has nothing to do with what was being said.

I thought it was his sister?

He sprung up out of nowhere too in the scoring charts. Fair play to him. 2 Wexford players in the top 4 scorers in the First Division.

Ya it was his girlfriend, just the same last name.

Ya he did very well seems as he didn't play a lot of the season. Wouldn't mind seeing him get a crack at the premier with ourselves. Think he was on trial with Cork at the start of this season.

I heard he turned down Limerick and Waterford at the start of the season to stay with us. Hopefully he stays next season too

Heard the same... he is a very good player wouldn't be surprised if we came back in.

He really did, he got 10 goals in his last 8 games! Elmes had a great season too, scored a lot of important goals and plenty against Harps

only for Wexford's blip in the middle of the season they could have easily have passed us out! I am not surprised with only 4 ltfc fans as a lot of fans are savin their money for the playoffs including yours truly! the next two/four weeks are goin to be massive for us ...
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

What will happen if ye don't get promoted? Hasn't your sponsor gone bust? That'l surely affect your budget next season

Munnely is our main sponsor financially from what I hear, so losing Flancare isn't actually that big a deal.

I'd be surprised if Tony is kept on if we don't go up tbh, so major upheaval on the horizon quite possibly. All speculation of course!

What about the ground name though? Will there be a name change for next season?

Ha, our crowds suck, but have still improved for the second season in a row, little victory's and all that..
As for the ground name, I have honestly no idea what will happen.

I'd love to see Waterford go up and Dundalk come down to the first division. At least they might bring a few more away fans and we'll have some sort of sniff of a team that's not 3 hours away from us.

There was a lot of that from the PA Saturday night! Guess the emotion of the evening got to him.

1486 though. So close to a nice round number, but a fantastic crowd.

Was there only 250 at Dundalk-Bohs game? Where are all those crying "save our club" Get out and support your club and stop hoping someone will ride in to your rescue.
