ForzaForth reckons 480, I'd usually agree with his estimates but I'l go for around 420. It was definitely more than the 300 estimate on Extratime tho
**** crowd for a game v Derry.

Quite pleased with our crowd this weekend, 2400-odd considering we had a terrible start and Monaghan had no fans there ain't bad. If we can up it by a few hundred against Sligo next week and keep playing a bit of decent football we should be ok.
Cork v Mons - 2431 (Official)
Drogs v Pats - 1282 (Official)
Shamrock v Dundalk - 3200 (on here)
Shels v Bray - 1008 (Official)
Sligo v Derry - 2488 (Official)
UCD v Bohs - 772 (Official)
SD Galway v Mervue - 447 (Official)
Wexford v Limerick - 420 (Fairest estimate)
Any Athlone, Waterford, Harps or Longford fans want to estimate/confirm crowds??
I would say roughly 300-350 at Flancare Park. About 25 Harps fans.

Unfortunately with summer soccer we're battling with the GAA for numbers as I know quite a few who'd like to attend both, but if they clash the GAA will win out in the end.
No idea why big spending had to be inside inverted commas there. All the same, I couldn't care less if there was 50 people in the ground next week long as we beat the big spenders.

It depends how you define "big spending" like.
People in Lissywoolen screaming we'd three players on 2 grand a week each a few weeks back.
On the Harps thing, all I ever suggested was crowds would drop off a bit if and when they fell away.
I'm scratching my head as to how this is controversial??
Expect a BIG crowd Saturday mind :gulps:
Anyways....

The Rovers - Dundalk figure was taken from extratime

Termonbarry Athletic TID!
Not so sure we'll see out crowd jump for the Limerick game. The last game was on Good Friday- probably the easiest day to get a crowd and that wasn't great. Plus getting hammered by Derry's reserves probably impacts the consciousness more than winning away in Longford.
Hope I'm massively wrong obviously.

To be honest, if Harps averaged out at 600-700 for the rest of the season I'd consider that relatively successful. If we're pushing promotion toward the end of the season it might see a rise, but at the minute, maintaining the crowds we have would be a success compared to how many fans we've lost over the past few years for various reasons.
