Salthill Devon reported the attendance as 347. The double-vision that has afflicted Mervue officials seems to be even more serious in Salthill.
There was more than 150 there

Extratime estimates 300 for Bray/Derry. Desperate if true

They reckon about 1500 in Oriel Park

very good crowd in Cork, but it is sure to drop off if their performances do not improve. Already Derry, Pats and Shamrocks are 6 pts ahead of them. 150 in Terryland means that it looks like a big mistake has been made about soccer in Galway by the FAI. While it is early in the season. it seems that all the experts who were of the opinion that reducing the number of teams in Galway was the way to go may have been wrong. Do other clubs and fans of the league care about what is going on? I suppose not.

I most certainly care. Always held Galway Utd in high regard and always enjoyed the trips to play them. A club I had a soft spot for you could say. But what exactly can one do apart from a Maxi job at the FAI headquarters?
Fans are completely helpless when it comes to the decision making in the league, the FAI certainly don't care about the league nor the crowds along with it so there's not a lot one can do.

    Thanks for that Nigel-Harps.

One team in Galway IS the only was forward, but what can you do when the chairman of the league is a Salthill Devon man hell bent on crowning his own club kings of Galway, even if there's nobody left to worship it.

The Galway United directors are still very much on the scene and allegedly are pulling strings / threatening the FAI with all sorts, along with their usual nonsense, trying to dump their debts on somebody.

Again, what can you do when all this is going on.

2690 at Bohs v Shels according to ET. Thought it was more than that, as I had sat in both blocks E & B during the game. Would have had it at closer to 3000 myself looking at the crowd in the Jodi and Des Kelly.

At our end they didn't have the man power to cope with our ground so they opened the "exit" gate and started taking exact cash off people, saying a good 100 people went in before I did through that and God knows how many after, none of that was being recorded I'd imagine.

OK. The attendance at terryland last night was very disappointing according to my mate who is one of the head coaches at Salthill Devon. The official attendance was 233 with only apparently 64 people paying in at the gate. 100+ in attendance would have been juvenile/junior players or club members/staff of Salthill Devon who all got free season tickets.

Do other clubs and fans of the league care about what is going on?
they need to know exactly what happened in the first place to start caring, and until the GUST or whoever make public everything that went/is going on between the FAI and Salthill they will never take as much interest as we need them too.

I could start by saying that the FAI have put aside LOI clubs cash this year to pay for the rental of terryland for salthill devon for the entire season.

whoever wants to add to that can!

Extratime seem all over the place with their attendances. They had us down for 1,400 last week when it was about 1,700
    Here on a technicality.

It would never be the case that fans are overestimating their own attendances.

Conveniently forgetting the President of Ireland is a Galway United man ;P

I think there was a deliberate decision not to involve him, since he is a great supporter and could do without being uttered in the same sentence as local criminals.

We all know that happens but even some away fans and neutrals saying their figures are way off
