Overcast, but dry? Some people do have lives away from the LoI. A nice day is more likely to mean days out with the children, other outdoors activities, jobs around the garden/ farm etc. You can dismiss it all you want, but football isn't the very top priority for everyone who follows the league - the facts speak for themselves with lower attendances in the summer months which are on the face of it better for watching football (warmer and dryer).

200 at sd galway longford town game acc to the star. what was the story with the segregation and the cordening off? it was ridculous to say the least and separated the huge crowd that travelled up into three separate groupings!

Huge crowd??? the total attendance was 164 and after the weekend the first division makes sorry reading for soccer in Galway ?

Harps fan that told me 400 so I'd suppose it would have been better coming from someone knowing the ground better. All in all, no matter how bad the team are, thats a horrible attendance for Waterford. There was about 15-20 Harps fans there too from what I hear.

Longford fans moved into home section to make it look like larger home attendance than travelling support shock !

Fair play to the 15-20!

Things aren't looking great at all for Waterford. Once again the team isn't performing when expected to challenge. Already 7 points behind Longford and 6 behind Limerick.
