IMO John O'Flynn is not up to international level at the moment. If he were to regain previous form he'd be htere on merit but he won't do himself justice now.

Kevin Doyle has done very well for u-20s & u-21s & worth a squad place on merit.

There may not be room for both ego's on the pitch at the one time.
Don't like either of these players, bad news the both of them.

No, he scores a few goals!

The Connolly thing is interesting. Remember saying that Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen would never be a good partnership as they were too similar - Connolly/Keane may be the same thing, though Keane's obviously far better. Would be interesting to see Connolly and Morrison against Bulgaria. Maybe bring O'Flynn on in the second half to keep the Cork fans happy!

I think Connolly's ego is more a defense mechanism for his lack of height. He's 5.7 on tipeetoes.

For the foreseeable future i can only see morrisson partnering Keane (Unfortunatly) but you never know what may happen during the season.

After watching Fitzpatrick last night and on several other occasions it'd be a long time before he pulls the green on. A player that has impressed me of late is George O Callaghan having seen him as a midfielder and striker i think he would be good playing behind the front two or up alongside Keane.

Andy Reid started his career as a striker and would be no harm to have him up front with duff back on the left. If Elliott gets his game at Sunderland and gets a few goals i'd give him a run out ahead of Connolly. I'd say they'd make a good partnership. ifs and buts i know.
